When you are preparing for your trip, here are some tips.

Getting there

For flights, Chalet Ananas is accessible from Chambery (~1h30), Grenoble (~2h10), Lyon (~2h10) and Geneva (~2h30 ).

For trains, the nearest station is Moutier.

You can get a bus from Geneva, Lyon & Moutier with Altibus.

There are lots of transfer companies. Find Transfers is good for shopping around. We usually find the best rates with Mountain Express or Alps2Alps for groups of more than 3. Otherwise, car hire is the most cost-effective (From Geneva, hire a car from the Swiss side to avoid motorway tolls). If you want to lift share, BlaBlaCar can help you find people going the same way.

Ski Hire

The closest ski hire shop is Skimium Centre Airelles. It's about a 5-minute walk from the chalet. You can get up to 50% discount by booking in advance. Look out for black Friday deals.

Lift Pass

You can save some hassle on the 1st day of your holiday by booking your 3 Vallee lift pass and sending it to you at home. Allow at least two weeks for the post.

Catering

If you want catering, we recommend Jacolijn (but beware she books up around a year in advance). She also looks after the chalet and can help with any problems during your stay.

Guides & Instructors

There are three options for ski school in the Village. You can ski there on blue/green runs or take the bus 50m from the front door: ESF, Oxygene, or Prosneige. Or book a freelance instructor or guide with Maison Sport.

Happy holidays!
