Chalet Ananas is a traditional Savoyard style piste-side chalet in the charming Hameau des Marmottes. It's ideal for groups of friends or several families holidaying together.
Chalet Ananas is perfectly positioned to enjoy skiing in the fabulous playground of Les 3 Vallées. Ananas is right next to the piste for ski in and out. It is a short walk or bus ride to the centre of the village.
The chalet has a large south-facing balcony and glazed living room doors which provide amazing uninterrupted mountain views from the living area. This huge open plan lounge/ dining room provides ample space for everyone to enjoy après ski activities. There is free wifi, loads of board games, DVDs, and table football for entertainment. 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms give everyone plenty of space for a comfortable night’s rest on good quality mattresses, pillows, and pure cotton bed sheets.
Les 3Vallées is hard to beat. Guaranteed snow or your money back on your lift pass. There are 600km of pistes, 25 accessible summits and 6 glaciers, making it is almost impossible to ski the whole resort in a week with plenty of choice for beginners, intermediate and expert skiers.
The blue Bettex piste runs directly in front of the chalet down to the Bettex lift. So you can ski from the chalet door and home again. For those who start the week as beginners, there is a bus stop 50 meters from the chalet which goes up to the starting points for ski schools in La Croisette. After a couple of days skiing, many beginners feel able to ski to and from the chalet.
The chalet is perfectly situated for groups to gather at home for lunch or to drop off weary skiers part way through the day, collect those who have refuelled and head out onto the slopes once more. Skiing right up to the front door is guaranteed for virtually the entire season.
On the mountain, restaurants range from the Michelin starred to rustic. There are the usual crepes, frites, chocolat chaud and it is possible to indulge in Savoyard classics like cheese fondue and tartiflette.
There are places to eat within easy walking distance of the Chalet. Check out La Ruade and Table des Marmottes on the run home for dinner or a quick drink!
La Croisette is a short bus ride or walk up the mountain has several bars and restaurants for those seeking a night out or a quick drink on the way home. Further up the mountain, La Folie Douce and Bar360 provide a legendary après ski experience every afternoon, offering DJs, singers, dancers and musicians who carry the crowd with a music mix that suits everyone who loves to party.
